3302 before you can enroll in BI 301 A history of microbiology and a survey of microbial life. Includes viruses, rickettsia, bacteria, blue-green algae, and fungi; their environment, growth, reproduction, metabolism, and relationship to humans. Laboratory fee. 4 credits
