HTMG 3340 - Tourism Planning and Policy A comprehensive review of the tourism planning and policy process used to develop or modify major tourism destinations. Aspects of the process include goals and objectives; the use of environmental, economic, marketing, topographical, and political studies; and monitoring and control procedures to assure proper planning and policy implementation. Focus on considering both tourism benefits and costs in assessing net impacts. 3 credits
