HIST 2240 - Colonial Latin America This course examines the history of colonial Latin America from ancient America through the nineteenth century independence revolutions using the analysis of daily lives and interactions described in primary and secondary sources. The focus is on how the mixture of European, African, and New World inputs gave rise to unique Latin American cultures. 3 credits
