CSCI 4497 - Capstone Software Project I

Prerequisites: CSCI 2210, CSCI 2226. An object-oriented design methodology course. Topics include requirements capture, object-oriented system analysis, design, and implementation. Primary emphasis on the UML methodology, separation of layers, design patterns, and the importance of these in developing a software project. Students will design and develop a capstone project and will implement portions using C++ or Java. This is the alpha-phase of the capstone project, which will be completed in Capstone Senior Project II. 3 credits.
