BIOL 3340 - Neurobiology of the Human Brain Prerequisites: BIOL 2253 , BIOL 2254 , CHEM 2202 . This course addresses the structure, function, physiology and development of the human brain through an extensive use of primary literature. It integrates neuroscience, clinical and gross anatomy and brain-associated conditions before and after birth. Its intent is to focus on the latest research, diagnosis and treatment of a variety of brain traumas. It serves as an opportunity for students to interpret non-invasive and invasive imaging techniques. 3 credits.
