DAD 102 - Digital Art and Design Prerequisite: DAD 101 This course builds upon ideas and technologies introduced in DAD
101 . It deals with digital media in relation to the fields of art and design. Hardware and software tools are described in detail. Students are introduced to the step-by-step creative and organizing process that results in a finished digital art and design project. The course emphasizes such topics as how to structure information, how to anticipate user experience, and how to generate visually compelling interfaces that successfully communicate the principles of good design and/or artistic expression. 3 credits
