CE 408 - Steel Design and Construction Prerequisite: CE 312 Analysis, design, and construction of steel structures. Topics include tension, compression, and flexural members; connections; members subjected to torsion; beam-columns; fabrication, erection, and shop practice. Designs will be based on Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD). 3 credit hours (two hours lecture, two hours discussion). 3 credits
