AR 220 - Intensive Arabic II

Prerequisite: AR 110 or AR 102 , or consent of instructor. This course expands on the previously-acquired elementary foundation in speaking, listening, writing, and reading with special attention to conversational modern, standard Arabic and colloquial Arabic. It also includes readings on familiar subjects, practical and reflective written assignments, and discussions on essential cultural patterns. 6 credits
