EMGT 6635 - Political and Policy Basis of Emergency Management


Prerequisite: EMGT 6604  . In this course, students will learn how public policy, public management, and politics are central to understanding how communities address emergency management. This course will introduce concepts and basic descriptive information about the political system within the context of disaster policy and will demonstrate how political factors play a role in many phases of the discipline of emergency management.
