The M.S. in Forensic Accounting program is a fully-online program that combines the strengths of the University's academic expertise in the areas of accounting and forensic investigations to create a new program designed to prepare students for careers as forensic accountants, investigators, and corporate financial security experts.
By the end of this program students will be able to:
1) Understand the ethical and legal environment and responsibilities of a forensic accounting;
2) Understand the forensic accounting tools and practices needed for specific engagements;
3) Demonstrate core forensic accounting knowledge.
This program requires 30 graduate credits. Students must have completed at least two courses in Intermediate Accounting and one course in Auditing at the undergraduate level.
