Through the Graduate School, the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences offers career-oriented graduate degree programs in criminal justice, fire science, forensic science, forensic technology, investigations, and national security. In addition, graduate certificates are available in specialized areas within the same fields of study for students seeking shorter, more focused programs of study.

Broad professional education is provided, often integrating classroom learning with laboratory and field experience. The programs attract students of varied ages and levels of expertise, from individuals new to the field to seasoned professionals seeking national or regional accreditation and licensure.

The Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences is divided into three academic departments: Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, and Fire Science and Professional Studies.

In addition to the graduate programs at the main campus in West Haven, the university is authorized to offer its master of science degrees in national security at its New Mexico location at the Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque. Graduate certificates in these two areas, plus a certificate in forensic computer investigation, are also available at the New Mexico site.
