ECON 6629 - Business and Society

Prerequisite: ECON 6601. Topics include forces shaping business institutions through emerging social, legal, ethical, and political issues such as pollution control, workplace issues, equal employment opportunity, product safety, and relations with external stakeholders. Also addressed, using lectures and cases, will be laws and regulations that govern and restrict business activities.
