BIOM 6601 - Biomedical Engineering Seminar

Prerequisite: biomedical engineering graduate standing or instructor's consent. Definition of scope including a historical perspective, moral and ethical issues, biomaterials, biomechanics, bioinstrumentation, tissue engineering, biomedical optics and lasers, imaging, challenges, and future of the bioengineering field. Speakers will review engineering-life sciences interdisciplinary activities.
