CSCI 2215 - Introduction to Databases
Prerequisite: CSCI 1110 or EASC 1112 . Emphasis on comprehending database concepts and developing a practical level of skills in a current database software package. An introduction to data modeling and normal forms, introduction to Standard Query Language (SQL), Query By Example (QBE), security, and report generation. Students develop and implement a modest database project. 3 credits.
