BIOL 3340 - Neurobiology of the Human Brain

Prerequisites: BIOL 2253, BIOL 2254, CHEM 1115, or higher. This course addresses the structure, function, physiology, and development of the human brain through an extensive use of primary literature. It integrates neuroscience, clinical and gross anatomy, and brain-associated conditions before and after birth. Its intent is to focus on the latest research, diagnosis, and treatment of a variety of brain traumas. 3 credits.
