DGAD 2255 - Virtual and Augmented Reality Design


Prerequisite: DGAD 2001 . This course explores virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality platforms as contemporary design strategies and art forms. Students will become both users and content creators of these digital mediums. Course content will explore the theory, methodology, and technical skills necessary to create meaningful, multi-sensory, interactive experiences. Students will develop a portfolio of individual and collaborative work that can connect to any discipline. Laboratory fee; 3 credits.
