MATH 6620 - Numerical Analysis Prerequisites: a minimum of 12 credit hours of undergraduate mathematics, including calculus and linear algebra; knowledge of a computer programming language such as Pascal, C programming, FORTRAN, or BASIC. Topics include: solution of transcendental equations by iterative methods; solution of systems of linear equations (matrix inversion, etc.); interpolation, numerical differentiation, and integrations; solution or ordinary differential equations. 3 credits.
