ELEC 6603 - Discrete and Continuous Systems I Prerequisite: linear system analysis. This course exposes the students to the tools and mathematical techniques used in the analysis of continuous-time and discrete-time signals and systems. Topics include a thorough coverage of Fourier series, Fourier Transform, Hilbert transform, Laplace transform, Z transform, discrete-time Fourier transform (DTFT), discrete Fourier transform (DFT), fast Fourier transform (FFT), and state-space analysis. 3 credits.
