ACCT 6658 - Financial Fraud Quantitative Methods This course covers the analysis of forensic accounting data and its misuse. The focus includes the use of quantitative methods for decision making and the evaluation of data to detect financial fraud. Hands-on experiences will develop skills with quantitative techniques and visualization tools used in forensic accounting; the foundation language for the course is R. Topics may include: decision trees, linear & logistic regression, cluster & principal component analysis, and applications of Benford's Law. 3 credits.
