CHME 4498 - Chemical Engineering Capstone Design II

Prerequisites: CHME 4497 and senior standing. A capstone course in the design of processing plants and equipment, applying principles from transport operations, thermodynamics, kinetics, and economics. Students work in groups to develop flowsheets, select equipment, specify operating conditions, and analyze designs from technical, economic, and safety perspectives. Extensive report writing and oral presentations. 3 credits.
