INTS 2200 - Guided Inquiry for Community Engagement

Prerequisite: ENGL 1112  or ENGL 1113  or ENGL 1114 .  This course invites students to embark on an interdisciplinary journey with an emphasis on community engagement and public scholarship. Starting from the same point, students will proceed through the semester by making choices about where to go next based on options provided by the instructor and informed by their own interests. While developing individual strengths as researchers, creative critical thinkers, and communicators, students will also forge bonds as members of a community collaborating on the College Commons, an open-access digital space dedicated to showcasing the Humanities, Arts, and Sciences at the college via blogs, editorials, critical essays, and podcasts, and curating on-site events, including speaker series, colloquia, and presentations. 3 credits.
