PSYC 6660 - Contemporary Issues in Industrial/Organizational Psychology Prerequisite: 9 hours in psychology or consent of the instructor. In-depth investigation of topical trends and areas of concern in industrial/organizational psychology. Topics may include, but are not limited to, the impact of EEOC regulations on selection and promotion; assessment centers; the psychosocial effects of globalization, rapid technological innovation, use of human capital analytics to facilitate critical thinking about human behavior in the workplace; diversity and cross-cultural competence in the workplace. Content will be stated at the time the course is scheduled. May be taken twice.
