SLPA 6630 - Clinical Practicum I

This course is the first level of therapeutic contact with individuals who exhibit communication disorders. Under the supervision of ASHA-certified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists, students will work with children and adults who have speech, language and hearing disorders in approved practicum settings. Students will be trained in clinical procedures for evaluating and treating communication disorders. Students will use both individual and group sessions to hone their clinical skills. 1.5 credits.
