SLPA 6800 - Voice Disorders

This course focuses on understanding the etiology and pathology of voice. An understanding of the theoretical perspectives will support the integration of information and clinical application. Lectures will deliver information on treatment and assessment of voice disorders across the lifespan, and engage students in conversation to develop critical thinking around these points. Students will learn collaborative models to best serve individuals with voice and velopharyngeal disorders in different settings. 3 credits.
