NUTR 6644 - Nutrition Counseling

Prerequisite: NUTR 6610. This course examines nutritional intervention strategies and counseling skills that pertain to disease prevention and management. It is designed to build appropriate knowledge base and counseling strategies when working with individuals as well as with groups. Interviewing techniques and implementation of nutrition interventions for individuals and groups will be covered. 3 credits.
