PUBH 6687 - Advanced Epidemiology


Prerequisite: PUBH 6615 . This course is designed to expand the knowledge of epidemiological principles by introducing methodological approaches to handling common problems in epidemiologic research that extend beyond the scope of traditional methods. This is achieved through discussion of topics such as causal inference, sources of bias, and methods to improve the validity of epidemiologic studies. Students will use SAS, STATA, R, or a similar statistical software. 3 credits.
