MPMA 6614 - Data Analysis and Presentation in Marine Social Science

Prerequisite: MPMA 6604. This course will cover in depth the design and application of social science research methods to advance marine policy and management from a human dimensions perspective. Through various assignments and projects, students will learn and apply different methods of qualitative and quantitative analysis of social science data, including basic and inferential statistics, using the appropriate software. They will also learn the most effective methods to present social science research findings to diverse audiences. 3 credits.
