SLPA 5501 - Introduction to Speech Science

This course is an introduction to speech science theory and the functional organization of speech and its properties. The goal is to provide students with an understanding of the mechanisms of healthy speech production and perception in order to provide foundational information, which will be relevant to clinical practice working with individuals who have speech, language, and hearing difficulties. 3 credits.
