DSGN 6604 - Cognitive UX Design

This course will delve into the human psychological side of human-computer interaction. Although the focus will be on cognitive psychology, students will learn concepts from human factors, perception, memory, decision making, and social psychology, and each topic will be discussed in the context of UX. The goal is to provide UX students with a broad background in the psychological principles that influence how humans interact with devices ranging from smart phones to virtual reality 3 credits.
