SM 625 - Sport Management by the Numbers

Prerequisite: SM 617 . Expanding on basic accounting and finance, this course focuses on managerial accounting, financial planning, and statistical analysis in sports. Using various tools such as sport analytics, key performance indicators (KPI), balanced scorecard, triple bottom line, and other techniques, this course focuses on identifying how to find the right data, why it is critical, how to see the forest from the trees, and how to act based upon appropriate data.
