ENGL 2210 - Literature of a Moment


Prerequisite: ENGL 1112 . In this course, students will engage with the literature of a specific location and/or time period. The specific focus of this literary survey varies by section. The course emphasizes critical reading and analytical methods for exploring how communities shape literary production. The course prompts students to consider how cultural context shapes literary production and reception, and it provides methods of inquiry that can be applied to further literary studies. May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours as long as the specific focus of the section is not repeated. 3 credits.
