ARTS 4598 - Arts Internship

Prerequisite: consent of the instructor. Students will have an opportunity to intern within a professional artist's studio, art gallery, museum, or other creative arts organization. Students may seek their own internship or the program will match students with studios or organizations appropriate to their interests and skills. Mentors within the studio or organization provide students with a broad range of learning opportunities. In addition, students maintain weekly journals, research career opportunities, and write a reflection paper that includes support materials. (135 internship contact hours). 3 credits.
