AIML 3398 - AI Internship

Prerequisites: Junior standing. Prerequisites or Co-requisites: AIML 3320. This course provides the opportunity for Artificial Intelligence students to engage in real-world practice of what they learn in classes. The internship experience must be closely related to the field of AI and must be at least 200 hours in duration under the direction of a practicing engineer, data scientist, or mentor while gaining professional experience. The internship/experiential activity may include exposure to and participation in AI systems development, machine learning engineering, data science, research, or related professional service. 1 credits.
