CSYS 6683 - Network Defense

Prerequisite: CSCI 6642. This course takes an in-depth look at network defense principles and techniques. It examines theoretical concepts behind designing and evaluating secure network operations, and devising and rationalizing best possible countermeasures against feasible threats. Methods of detection and action will be explained as well as the use of a variety of technologies and policies specific to network defense principles and techniques. 3 credits.
