CLRE 6200 - Responsible Conduct of Research

Prerequisite or co-requisite: CLRE 6100. This course describes the evolution and implementation of the concepts and policies required for the responsible and ethical conduct of clinical research. The history of violations of human rights and the policy responses that now govern human subjects research will be addressed in depth. The function and procedures of Institutional Review Boards and the dissemination of research findings will also be introduced. 3 credits.
