HIST 1122 - United States Since 1865 This course explores the history of the United States from the end of the Civil War in 1865 to the present. It will cover the consequences of the Civil War, continuing industrial and economic development, political and social changes, intellectual and cultural movements, and the growing global role of the United States through two world wars, the cold war, and the war on terror. 3 credits
