ARBC 2201 - Intermediate Arabic I Prerequisite: ARBC 1102 or permission of the instructor This course builds upon the skills acquired in the first-year course sequence. Emphasis will be on mastering grammar, speaking skills, listening comprehension, and reading skills. Students will gain the confidence to converse with native speakers on a variety of topics; will be able to write simple texts on everyday themes; and will acquire the skills to read uncomplicated authentic texts, such as newpaper articles on familiar topics. 3 credits
