PSYC 2217 - Adolescent Development Prerequisite: PSYC 1111 or PSYC 1112 . This course focuses on the scientific study of the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional changes that occur during adolescence. Adolescent developmental theory and research designs will be discussed, including the effects of heredity, family, peers, media, schools, gender roles, sexuality, community, culture, and society. 3 credits
