FIRE 2205 - Fire Prot Hydraulics & Water Supply Prerequisite: FIRE 1102 , MATH 1104 or higher. This course provides a foundation of theoretical knowledge in order to understand the principles of the use of water in fire protection and to apply hydraulic principles to analyze and to solve water supply problems. A study of the fundamentals of water supply including the quantity of pressure needed to provide adequate fire protection, the ability of the existing water system to provide fire protection, and general principles of fire suppression systems. 3 credits
