FIRE 3313 - Fire Investigation II Prerequisite: FIRE 2204 . This course is intended to provide the student with advanced technical knowledge on the rule of law, fire scene analysis, fire behavior, evidence collection and preservation, scene documentation, case preparation, and courtroom testimony. An advanced course geared toward personnel who have or may have statutory responsibility for fire investigation in the public sector and for private sector persons who conduct or may conduct investigations for insurance companies or litigation purposes. Proper techniques for investigation of fires and explosions will be studies in depth along with the appropriate standards. 3 credits
