ENGL 2287 - Story Structure and Narrative Form Prerequisite: ENGL 2267 or consent of department. A detailed study of story structures and the formal aspects of fiction and other prose genres. Attention is given to the technical aspects of writing, including structure, characterization, setting, tone, imagery, point of view, and style. This course explores the relationship between form and content through lectures, readings, discussions, and writing exercises. 3 credits
