National security majors at the University of New Haven develop the knowledge and skills needed for a career with the CIA, the FBI, the NSA, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Department of State, or the Department of Defense. The University of New Haven is one of the few universities in the U.S. which offers this in-demand calling.

Students who graduate from this program prepare to work as an intelligence analyst by:

  • Gaining analytical skills such as critical incident mapping, data mining, data analysis, and intelligence reporting, plus hands-on experience with professional tools and software
  • Understanding how to play both defense and offense in cyberwar
  • Gaining intensive internship experience in order to contribute to national security from the first day on the job
