This certificate program is designed to strengthen the leadership and business skills of non-profit managers and students interested in non-profit management careers; ultimately resulting in more effectively- and efficiently-managed sustainable social enterprises providing greater and longer term community impact. This program consists of four courses focused on real-life non-profit clients in the classroom. Candidates are interested in enhancing their business knowledge and strategic management skills, improving effectiveness and efficiency in non-profit organizations, and are motivated by leadership roles in this type of organization. Non-profit project management, financial controls and cost structure, revenue enhancement, fundraising, and effective leadership and innovation will be explored. Four courses (12 credits) are required.
