Esports and Gaming Minor

Please refer to important information on minor requirements on this page. The gaming industry worldwide is three to four times larger than the collective film industry topping $140 billion in 2019.  This minor offers students an opportunity to explore topics in this industry.  Students will begin with foundational courses introducing gaming hardware and software, the business of competitive gaming and esports, and an introduction to the field of game studies.  Students will then have two electives to pursue interests in fields such as health, sporting integrity, and media studies.

The minor in esports and gaming consists of 15 undergraduate credits.
