The 12-credit transnational cybersecurity certificate is designed for students and professionals who wish to enhance their knowledge of national security in the transnational cyber realm. The nexus between physical security and cybersecurity is becoming one of our greatest national security vulnerabilities and emerging threats. This certificate explores its dynamic arena.
Students completing this program will:
- Develop a working knowledge of the most prominent features of transnational cyber considerations in national security with an emphasis on the United States' national security enterprise.
- Acquire a foundational understanding and awareness of issues related to cyber security and information protection.
- Generate original graduate-level cyber problem-solving hypotheses.
- Evaluate and design transnational cyber policy solutions to contemporary national security problems.
This certificate is comprised of four required courses.
