In the health promotion certificate program, students will learn how to design, plan, implement, and evaluate effective health education practices and interventions to address public health challenges and facilitate behavioral changes to improve population health.
Program Outcomes
Students will demonstrate competence in:
- methods of public health program design and its evaluation;
- the social ecological determinants of health;
- the principles and practices of public health education and health promotion; and
- grant writing in public health sectors.
