A total of 60 graduate credits is required for completion of the master of science in speech-language pathology. At the graduate level, students will develop knowledge and skills to help patients of all ages with communication disorders. Students will have hands-on learning experiences in a wide range of practice settings. The program consists of seven semesters of full-time on-site and hybrid graduate coursework in the sciences, social sciences, and clinical skills.
Program Outcomes
- Evaluate concepts of prevention, assessment and intervention of swallowing, speech, language and hearing disorders.
- Synthesize evidence-based information for clinical practice in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- Apply professional communication skills through peer collaboration.
- Integrate principles of cultural competence and ethical behavior.
