The B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies requires the completion of 121 credits: 39 credits to complete the major; 40 credits of the University Core Curriculum, and 42 elective credits.
Students completing a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies will, in collaboration with their academic advisor, construct coherent programs of study in at least two major areas of study by choosing one of the following options:
- Combining the coursework from two existing 18-credit programs from the approved list of minors (minors requiring fewer than 18 credits must have additional coursework approved by the Interdisciplinary Studies Coordinator) (36 credits)
-OR-
- Combining an existing 18-credit minor with an 18-credit self-designed concentration (approval by the Interdisciplinary Studies Director required) (36 credits).
An interdisciplinary capstone INTS 4400 (3 credits) is required.
Additionally, students must complete 40 credits of the University Core Curriculum with the following restrictions:
