CJ 221 - Juvenile Justice System Prequisite: CJ 100 Prerequisites: CJ 100, P 111. Analysis of stages and decisions made at critical junctures of the juvenile justice process. Topics include an analysis of Supreme Court treatment of juvenile justice issues and the ability of the juvenile justice system to respond to juvenile crime. Focus on the processing of juveniles through the systems and the special problems unique to juvenile justice. (See also SO 231.) 3 credits
