LSTD 6620 - Regulation and Occupational Fraud In this course, students will study the complexities and the importance of internal control structures, ethical issues involved with internal controls, and legal requirements of recent laws designed to regulate corporate governance. Internal controls and governance will be examined as a tool to prevent/detect fraud through identification of red flags in the internal control framework. Students will develop the skills needed to identify, analyze, and research ethical and legal requirements and internal controls to prevent/regulate occupational fraud, pose defendable positions, and defend their answers. 3 credit hours.
